Since June 2009, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health has provided information online from public health inspection reports about restaurant type facilities throughout the province.

Now, more detailed public health inspection report information is available through Inspection InSite for over 5,000 restaurant-type facilities and slaughter plants in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Health Authority Public Health Officers inspect restaurant type facilities and slaughter plants to determine compliance with The Food Safety Regulations and standards. Restaurant type facilities include, but are not limited to dining rooms, fast food outlets, caterers, mobile food vendors, ice cream stands, concession booths and public cafeterias. Slaughter plant facilities are limited to those that are licensed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Viewers of Inspection InSite should be aware that:

• Public health inspection reports are not intended to guarantee the conditions of a restaurant type facility or slaughter plant at all times and should not be relied upon for that purpose.

• Restaurant type facilities and slaughter plants listed on this site are operating with a valid licence and are considered to be safe to operate at the time of the last inspection.

• Information about restaurant type facilities and slaughter plants that are no longer in operation is not available online.

• This website was designed for the majority of browsers used. This includes Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer 10 and 11. Other browsers or older versions may not display the site the same way but could still function.
